The Mind Minder Limited company was founded on the basis of personal experience witnessing and supporting the challenges associated with having a family member suffering from the onset of Dementia.
Award Winning
mindminder won the national "Health Champion" category at the 2022 Ingenuity entrepreneur competition hosted by Nottingham University and sponsored by Nuffield Health.
Thankyou to everyone involved as part of this experience; I would have given up a long time ago without the encouragement offered by those involved during and following the award.
Who's behind mindminder?
As a software engineer with over 20yrs in the nuclear industry I realised that although formal diagnosis is inevitable, creating a way to identify and track the onset of dementia and mental health conditions consistently and non-intrusively is essential.
My background encompasses safety, reliability and security and mindminder has been built with these key
principles at it’s heart.
Having seen the impact of dementia on family members, and appreciating the impact on the wider health service I’m keen that mindminder’s users are offered the chance to contribute to wider aggregation of their data with that of the mindminder population; who knows what this valuable insight could reveal about managing and hopefully slowing or stopping the condition completely one day.
