Ingenuity Competition
In June 2023, mindminder won the Health category in the national "Ingenuity" social entrepreneurship competition.
The support, motivation, and networking that the programme has offered to mindminder has been invaluable; not least to keep the drive behind mindminder as without such inspiring support it would have been hard to keep on with the effort that has been required to get the product to stage it is in now.
The Ingenuity Programme supports start-ups to directly address the UK’s social and environmental challenges to drive change in local, under-served communities. It uses a national network of local charities and businesses to recruit, mentor and fund participants to turn their great idea into a viable business, providing entrepreneurs with access to online learning materials and tutorials from industry and academic experts, as well as support from specialist mentors to develop their idea into a business plan, and seed grants.
Below are a few of the media elements created during the Ingenuity journey.
Interviews
It was nice being interviewed and given the star treatment for the day. Quite a cool video too.
I was also interviewed on BBC Radio Nottingham

Nuffield Health
Driven by our purpose to build a healthier nation, our experts have been working together for more than 65 years to make the nation fitter, healthier, happier and stronger.
Nuffield Health provides health and wellbeing for every part of you. We believe that the best healthcare should help prevent illness by looking after mind and body. That’s why our connected health and wellbeing offering spans physical and mental health – from providing mental health support or hospital care and treatment to personal training, health assessments, GP services and physiotherapy.
We work together as a team to help you achieve your health and wellbeing ambitions, championing free health and wellbeing programmes in local communities by giving more people the tools they need to live a healthy life. These programmes help people understand and improve their own health, from those living with joint pain, to helping rehabilitate people experiencing the long-term effects from COVID-19.
